THE Academic Resource Center (ARC)
The Academic Resource Center (ARC) offers free services to all students during their undergraduate careers at Duke. Services include Learning Consultations, Peer Tutoring and Study Groups, ADHD/LD Coaching, Outreach Workshops, and more. Because learning is a process unique to every individual, the ARC works with each student to discover and develop their own academic strategy for success at Duke. AMI Equipment Cage – Rubenstein Arts Center, Room 126B (Monday-Friday, 1pm - 4pm)
The AMI equipment cage is located in room 126B of the new Rubenstein Arts Center. The cage officially opens on Thursday, January 24 (the day after drop/add deadline). The cage will close for the semester on the last day of classes, Wednesday, April 24. Basic info about the cage can be found on their web site. Students enrolled in AMI classes and AMI independent study projects may check out and return equipment during the cage's regular hours: Monday-Friday from 1pm - 4pm. Checkouts are for 24 - 48 hours. Gear checked out Thursday is due Friday. Gear checked out on Friday is due Monday. The AMI equipment cage features several Canon DSLRs and audio gear. Check out this page for a breakdown of the available gear. Please note: equipment is to be used for class projects only. Checkout rules and policies are here. Priority use of the MPS is given to patrons engaging in multimedia-relavent activities. The MPS features Adobe Creative Cloud for editing. The MPS Lab is open whenever Bostock Library is open.
