Jillian Johnson
-Footage heavy weekend
-Happened to luck out that this was a jam-packed weekend for Johnson (This is great opportunity)
-Pride parade
-Hunter and Lauren worked out quite a bit
-Kept appearing
-Run ahead and set up the shot, over and over ahead
-Visited Jillian’s house for a potluck
-Hope to go back without cameras to enjoy the relationship
-Also did an interview with her at City Hall
-Potential block party (timing didn’t work out)
-Shot interview from two different position - totally exposed one differently than the other one. Can we fix this? Without grain? Carson refers to editing session later today.
-Most of the editing; we found that it was hard to frame it in regards to the story; lots of exposition and not a ton of story; it’s basically a promo right now
Suggestions
-Color correction
-Noise levelling
-Add a breath between thoughts
-Either reshoot the opening shot on a tripod or do the city hall shot as the first one
-You can reduce the jarring change in audio by putting really impressive visuals
-Music can be distracting, but it built well later in the piece
-Story: Politics is not a career (great story point) - maybe explore this a little more and dig a little deeper
-Story: Maybe more about the family - she has a son
-Reveal: She is a councilwoman, ALSO she is bisexual, ALSO she is really into the community

Underground Collective
-Secondary interview; zoom caught a bit of static — radio frequency wasn’t very strong
-No color correction
Pretty good
-Surprise at the end, getting emotional
-Childhood photographs
-Should cut away to more B-roll
-Music was coming in and going out, livened up the piece pretty well
-STORY: Any other elements?
